STAVANGER DIALECT

MASTERING THE STAVANGER DIALECT

Come crack the code of the Stavanger dialect and colloquial expressions and everyday language within the dialect: pronouns, nouns, verbs, negation, sentences, phrases - all the main differences.

Have you been studying Norwegian but still have a difficult time understanding what the locals are saying? The Bokmål dialect is always taught in class, but Norwegian has a LOT of dialects and the Stavanger dialect can be quite tricky.

This class will help ex-pats and immigrants understand our dialect better and help them feel more comfortable chatting with the locals!

Though we use English as a support language, a lot of the content is in Norwegian, so we recommend having at least an A1 (beginner) level in Norwegian. If you're a beginner, you'll still benefit from the course though you may not understand every word in Norwegian.

Sign up below and you'll feel like a local in no time.
